Job Objective 

We are seeking a skilled web developer with WordPress and UI/UX experience to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in WordPress development, coupled with a keen eye for user interface and experience in design. You will play a crucial role in crafting and maintaining WordPress-based websites, ensuring they are both visually appealing and functionally robust. 

Responsibilities 

• Design and develop WordPress websites with a focus on user interface and experience, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and ease of use. 

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management and design to understand and implement project requirements effectively. 

• Customize and extend WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project needs. 

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to WordPress coding standards. 

• Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard website integrity and user data. 

• Test and debug websites across various browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance and responsiveness. 

• Stay updated on the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field preferred. 

• 4+ years of experience in WordPress development with a focus on UI/UX. 

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

• Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, PHP and SQL databases. 

• Strong command of WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development. 

• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles. 

• Familiarity with popular WordPress page builders such as Elementor or Beaver Builder. 

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and techniques for WordPress websites. 

• Experience with version control systems such as Git. 

• Experience in developing cloud-based applications using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and EC2. 

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 

• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for project deliverables.
