Position Title: Associate Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Objective 
In this role, you will test and validate Cloudelligent's in-house SaaS and AI-enabled products built on AWS. This is a growth role, we're looking for someone early in their QA career who brings strong attention to detail, a fast learning curve, and ownership mindset, and who we can train into our product testing processes and standards over time, including AI-assisted testing workflows. 

Responsibilities 

• Perform manual testing of web-based and AI-driven applications (automated testing exposure plus, not required at entry). 

• Execute test plans and test cases, smoke, regression, functional, UAT, and deployment testing . 

• Leverage AI-assisted development and testing tools (e.g., Kiro) to support spec-driven testing, test case generation, and QA documentation workflows. 

• Run manual test scripts, capture results, and maintain accurate test documentation in JIRA. 

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear, reproducible steps. 

• Support test coverage efforts across web applications and AI-related workflows. 

• Help identify opportunities to improve QA processes as you grow into the role, including adoption of AI-driven testing tools. 

• Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to understand requirements and designs. 

• Build familiarity with SaaS, AI, and cloud technologies through hands-on work. 

Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. 

• 2+ years of QA experience. 

• Foundational understanding of frontend and backend testing concepts. 

• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies, including AI and cloud platforms. 

• Basic familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, etc.)  training will be provided. 

• Ability to write clear test cases and bug reports. 

• Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation (or willingness to learn). 

• Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM and JIRA is a plus. 

• Understanding SDLC and software testing fundamentals. 

• Basic programming knowledge (Python preferred) is a plus, not required. 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Comfortable working with a global, distributed team. 

• Curiosity or prior exposure to AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., Kiro, GitHub Copilot, or similar) is a strong plus. 

Nice to Have 

• AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner/AI Practitioner). 

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding or testing tools such as Kiro. 

• Any exposure to AI/ML testing concepts. 

• Any exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps environments.
