Job Objective
As a Finance Associate, you will contribute to managing day-to-day accounting activities and supporting strategic financial initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance, and provide meaningful insights to support business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Execute and support core accounting functions, including billing, payroll, accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger maintenance, cost accounting, inventory tracking, and revenue recognition.
- Maintain accurate financial records by posting transactions, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare, update, and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current financial data.
- Assist in audits, tax filings, and financial reviews by compiling and organizing relevant financial data in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Respond to internal and external financial inquiries by analyzing data and presenting clear, actionable insights.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes through data analysis and reporting.
- Document, evaluate, and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
- 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with solid analytical and numerical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, or ACCA.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Gusto, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance in a global business environment.
- Understanding of cloud technologies and the impact of cloud financial models.
